can anyone tell me how long the SD1 LT77 bell housing is please :

IE: from engine to box ?

RPi website says 18.5mm which I suspect should have been typed as 185mm.

This seems a little short to me but I don't have a bell housing to hand at the moment. I'll check in the cold harsh light of day...

Oh, this is presumably for a sportscar/SD1 since I know the four wheel drive housings are somewhat longer.

Saturday afternoon now and I have measured up - 180mm.

thanks guys ...i was hoping to use my existing bell housing ( a series one with adaptor ring ) but it's nearer 220mm
i have an old 2.0 ltr sherpa box on there and i was going to replacit with an lt77

From the front of the bellhousing to the output flange- 670mm.(approx)

more measurements please ...

LT77 , front end

= from front face to the end of the input shaft
= from front face to end of splines
= from front face to end of thrust tube
= diameter of the splines ..24.9 or 25.4 ? it is 23 splines
and the length of the spigot tip
