Tremect t45 on a rover???

Post by Paul V8 »

Hello, is it possible to fit a tremect t45 onto a rover v8. I know the bellhousing is part of the box and its from a ford. Just a thought as i know where i can get one.

Anything is possible but by the time you make adaptors and finish all the machining/welding you might be cheaper/quicker with one of the readily available solutions. I am sure there are other posts on this box so have a search and see what you come up with.

Real Steel make a bellhousing to fit Tremec boxes to the Rover engine. I know it will mate up the TKOs, don't know exactly what the T45 is.
No substitute for cubic inches

the bellhousing is part of the box so a new one isnt an option. Although it is detachable but it forms the front part of the main casing. They were used on mustangs.
