why do some sd1 boxes have the oil filler on the left and some on the right ?

?? I thought the oil filler was on the top, under a little plastic cover thing?

The drain plug is on the LHS I think, looking down the box from the rear?

I haven't followed this up yet as engine not ready to go in :cry:

not on an lt77 , don't take that out it's the detent for the gear shaft ...it the level / filler plug i'm talking about

I thought the little plastic thingy on the top was the breather, the plug in the side the filler/level and the drain the plug at the bottom. :D

Dont LT77s ahve the filler on one side and R380s have it on the other side. also have reverse on opposite sides,

I've got one lt77 with the oil filler on the tail housing, the other two I think are on the right, while my old landy lt77 had it on the left!
