clutch and gearlever return on lt77

Post by v8_xpack_capri »

Hi,

i have an lt77 box and i have 2 questions to ask.

firstly the gearstick rests in the 1st/2nd gate and wont center but will spring back to 1st once traken out of 5th. how can i get this to rest where it should in the 3rd/4th gate.

also i have just destroyed a clutch, i believe it to be a std one. i am looking to uprate the engine next year so will want the new one to be able to take the punishment of about 250ish bhp + up to 100bhp of gas. i need to know what clutch you recommend and where to get everyhitn to do the uprated clutch please.

thanksa lot,

Lee.

at the bottom of the gear stick there is a large spring and some bolts. You adjust the hight of the bolts under the spring to centre the stick where you want it.

It could be a broken spring but you will see when you go to adjust anyway.

I have a 10.5" clutch it wont fit the standard bellhousing.

I have a McLeod steel flywheel and 10,5" clutch. They fit inside the SD1 bellhousing.
