HEADS
The heads have the same bowl size so compression will stay at the p6 ratio,unless theve been skimmed. SD1 heads have bigger valves and better porting so are a worthwhile swap. Rearding gaskets,the tin ones will be ok,just DON`T fit the outer row of bolts(the short ones)tight as they cause the headga...

Hi all. I have a lucas 35dm8 distributor(the one without any internal electronics)that i`ve been given.The cap i`ve been using does not sit on the body of the distributor.Have tried a different cap and rotor arm but no joy. Stripped it down and all seems ok-nothing seems wrong other than shaft sits ...

Hi all.Does anyone have the timing figures for Range Rover cams?Specifically degrees ATDC at peak lift for the inlet,duration would be useful also. Has anyone come across 'universal` steel rocker arms made by a company called FAI.
The part number is R815.
They are not handed but are straight.I`ve no idea if their anygood so any info would be appreciated.

Machining a range rover flywheel
Is it true that a range rover flywheel cant be machined to fit an sd1 bellhousing and be redrilled to suit an sd1 clutch as it will be seriously weakened?
