just wondering how i can tell if my coil is ballasted or not ,,,,im just about to do this ignition upgrade but i have a brand new coil as i thought it was my coil that packed up but it was the amp giving me grief but i just bought a replacement coil so i dont know if its ballasted or not and i this ...

your prob right there as its in an offroad racer that takes a lot of abuse over rough terrain so maybe as well to get a new 1

thx for the advice ,,,yes its deffinately the amp as when it decides not to run if you hit the amp with a spanner it will run again lol
