The form does not designate a material. Just put From G washer in ebay and you will have loads of sellers - Plain/Black finish can sometimes be a pain to get on ebay ( I use a local fastener stockist) If you go for BZP or Zinc plated all you will need to do is give them a rub over on a bit of 240 we...

Washers come in a number of "forms" thicknesses and diameters http://www.fastenerdata.co.uk/fasteners/washers/flat/metric-flat-washer-bs4320.html So for instance a 25mm tube with an M8 mount - I would use a Form G washer - The tube I would use would be 1.5mm wall so a 2mm base would suit depending o...

I am assuming that you mean this sort of thing http://autofab.com/images/F53448488.jpg I make my own - You can use thick form washers for the base and I have also machined stepped inserts for jobs I have done in the past http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd87/Dutton_Andy/Ginetta%20G15/103_1933.jpg ...

If you make an assumption that the M/S sensor is actually correct - what you have is a high reading of water temperature from the left hand bank - Your next reading is where the water from both heads is then mixed in the manifold out to the top hose. You may well have limited water flow in that head...

Graph kind of makes sense

That funny route of the return hose in the rad will have water from the returns to the pump back thermo cycling up to that sensor until the stat starts to open and rad flow is allowed to flow past it.

In my mind the best location is as close as practicable to the collectors. No idea where that came from but its there so probably read it somewhere.
Near the collector also sounds quite logical to me.

Its looked to me with both sides being the same that the twist in the leading edge was part of the design - quite common to have that sort of profile and quite a few spoilers have a lift in the centre. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/3C7q15CV0Lw/hqdefault.jpg That looks to have a definite change in profile i...

I just use cheap crepe masking tape and thinking about it I have never had anything stick to it either side, sticky side when doing the gel repairs shown previously or release side when doing any moulding  so ignore my previous comment. I try to avoid getting PVA on it as it soaks into the ta...

The gel and glass will release from the non sticky side of masking tape as that is coated with release agent if you gelled to the sticky side it will stick.

On your gaskets it looks like the sealing rings got fitted to the outer head bolts and not the oil ways ! most odd.

The tin gaskets did have the compressible corrugations around the oil holes. The composite gaskets I had didn't have anything..... Chris. The Elring gaskets do http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd87/Dutton_Andy/Ginetta%20G27%20V8/100_7006_zpsb2wsmyut.jpg Then again the entire gasket is far better ...
