Best bargains for me have come outside of ebay, got a £600 Mini bartered down to £50, sold for £350 (its true value), which bought my compressor. Got a bike for £200 which will be worth £1200+ when sorted and with another £200 spent. I keep missing good stuff lately, like NOS inner Amazon wings for ...

Marki, I raised the gearing after dyno'ing. It was dyno'd just after running in, then modded gearing to tame it. It was bonkers at the 1260 stage yet read less hp than the much tamer 1070 tune before. Best thing was getting the fuelling right though, regardless of numbers, money well spent.

Not run a car on a dyno, but found big variations with my bike. E.g. in 1070cc form it made 139 rwhp. On its 1260cc build, on another dyno it read 133 rwhp. Yet I had to gear it up massively just to keep the front wheel down - made more power & shedloads more torque than 1070 guise. Still wheelied a...

How old is your car mate? If pre-72 I recommend joining the NSRA and using their scheme. For me it was less than half of Flux' price, gas no issue at all (Flux wanted to double the premium or something), and no quibbles with future engine mods/capacity hikes / roll cages etc. The Victor was £200pa m...
