They are exactly the wheels I was looking at. I've got a firm offering to redrill the halfshafts for £50 each.

Should I go for bolts or studs?

Sorry I missed this reply Perry. I want an every day car to take to shows and for high days and holidays. It's got to be optimised for Road. The standard 3.9i gives me near 190BHP and thats enough. From your post you sound as if you're still in Slough, do you know anyone locally that can redrill the...

Axle end caps

Pics below Now I'm thinking that space is the voice that the drum brake back-plate occupies. But I thought I’d check. Does the plat...

Going to go either the XJS IRS or buy the 3.07 cw&p + the frontline kit

Hi Perry, I used to live in Wexham too, in Shaggy Calf Lane. Its a small world. I do need an axle, I missed a genuine MGB V8 CW&P on eBay for £165, that would have worked a treat. I can get an SD1 axle easily, they’re on eBay for ~£50 regularly. Are you saying that the guts of an SD1 can be made to ...

Kiwi, If only I had the skills and the MGB had the structural integrity! I've now got two engines so am firmly on the path to RV8. Its a 78 Rubber bumper roadster in white. It will end up being an old English white Chrome car with dark red leather interior. Somehow though I think its going to take a...
