Please can any body tell me the correct electric pump to buy.

Pump on my range rover classic v8 engine 1986 > with su carbs is

Moprod 4B 12V

Thats all thats on bottom of pump what would be the correct pump
and presure to buy.

I put refurb kits in both carbs 8 mouths ago but due to lack of use
something may have stuck will remove carb tomorrow and check

Just started my land rover series 2a v8 up and is not firing on

2 and 8 on right bank

3 and 5 on left bank

range rover classic 3.5 engine 1986 on (su carbs)

Have tryed the mark on adjuster no movement ,had set lucas points before and they never moved hopefully getting set today and will all be ok fingers crossed.

Hi All Had alot of problems thought it was fuel starvasion took carbs off twice but just found problem points keep closing (v8 with su carbs). intermotor ponits / going to buy some lucas points Distributor v8 which points can be adjusted from bolt in the side of distributor and points stay in fixed ...

Hi All Just done service kit from su carbs and now my problem is it will start up and run for about 20 to 30 seconds and then slowly start to cut out until engine stops fuel pump pumping fine into bottle .so mustt be happening in carbs.?? could this be caused by sticky floats or by floats being set ...

as my first post says i put new coil and condenser unless its faulty .

Hello All Ok got it running today checked everything with fluke multimeter and every thing was as should be so cleaned the points and she fired up the metal on the points is black and purple wondering if cooked ! when running starts missing and backfiring before cutting out and then is had to start....

ok 12v to coil ok and just tryed coil ht lead to coil and low tension wire both grounded and coil is sending spark from ht lead so surely got to be something in dizzy ? Thinking along the lines that low tension wire no good which i will have to oreder as harder to get have found supplier or the brai...

all wires inside dizzy look ok is there any way to test.Thanks
