Thanks. I have a 4.6 that has had new 4.0 HC Pistons fitted by J EDevelopments. John has said I should have about 10:1 CR. I bought these heads described as Stage 2 TVR heads but do not know how much has been skimmed off. I can work out from STD measurements. Sadly I made the mistake of buying what ...

The car does have a remote oil filter but the late front covers have two ports for the oil cooler pipes and yes we have oil flowing under pressure from both pipes. There is no circuit when connected to the cooler. I was wondering if there is a problem with the relief valve. Ultimately I could blank ...

OIL COOLER OIL FLOW
Hope someone can help - I have a Discovery 2 4.6 V8 in an off road racer. We have a remote oil filter and the oil flow to it is great. However the oil flow to the oil cooler seems to be the same on both pipes. I would expect the flow to come out of 1 but not out of both. As a result, the oil cooler ...

The 3.9 was removed because 1...

Help and advice needed. I have just finished converting a 4.6 GEMS block to HOTWIRE with 3.9 SERP front end and standard distributor. Problem I now have is it only runs on 2 cylinders ( only 2 header pipes are hot - rest are stone cold. The 2cyls running are 4 and 6. I assume that HOTWIRE fires the ...
