Do engine mounts have to be the same on both sides?
I have to dogleg one side to clear the steering column. Do i need to mirror this on the other side?

I bought a take off plate some time ago, but now need a cheap remote head and pipes.
Dave, what year bmw do you have?

Does anyone know of a car that has a remote oil filter as standard? I've hit a few budget issues and need to keep costs down. If i can get one from the breakers that would help.

Have bought the engine, Its a lexus 4ltr v8 complete with gearbox,

Does anyone know where there is a good drawing of the external dimensions of the RV8? Have found the basic sizes but am after a more detailed drawing.

Thanks Kev, planning on using the lexus gearbox aswell so should be relatively easy

My aim is to put the engine and gearbox out of a lexus ls400 into a 1968 rover p5b. I'll only have a week to strip the lexus of everything i need to get it in and running. Has anyone got any experience with these engines with regard to whats needed to get it to run.??
