Hi

Cool, thanks for your help. I was wondering about the differences between alloy and steel.
Not looking at particularly high revving however you know what its like when your enjoying the V8 sound and you decide to bury it!

Hi Guys Its been a long time since I have posted or even been here thanks to the bar I am running at the moment. Due to the hours, I have had NO time for the SD1 which is annoying however shortly I will have no bar = LOADS of time. I want to upgrade my rocker assembly. I have seen v8-tuner.co.uk do ...

Hey dude

Have a look at triumph rover spares (its a website in Aus) and you will find a pair of big valve heads for around $1300
www.triumphroverspares.com.au
Would seriously buy some myself however I have had a pair worked on my Headmaster reconditioners in wellington.

Thats the other option

Hi Rich

Yeah thats what I thought but I have not really done any study to find out if its really worth while.

Just a set of good pads will do for now.

I will need to upgrade the brake master cylinder i suspect. Any advice on this????

Re: Sump Removal

Has anyone removed a sump from an SD1 without removing the motor? Hello Andy. I believe the way to deal with this problem is to remove the two main engine mounting bolts and any restraining attachments (not many if any)and jack up the engine in the front pulley just about an inch or so, sufficient ...

well the sump CAN come off from under the car while the motor is installed. I jacked up the car, un-did the sump bolts then put a jack under the pully. Remove engine mounts and jack up the motor to give you clearance between the cross member and sump. THe sump pretty much just slides on out. Cleaned...
