Thanks Dave, I did wonder about this but thought as they were dished inwards (concave?) it may have actually loosened them, I have read a few topics on here suggesting chemical metal etc. but think that might be a bit extreme?!

Have ordered to B1EJ needles for the strombergs, have also worked out that the timing marks are out so when cyl 1 is at tdc the timing mark is lined up at 8deg(ish) BTDC.
