Re: Final drive tool not working...
Yup, it's in the list of sticky topics just above.
Perfect for working out diff ratios and stuff when it is working.
I don't know if it's not working for just me or everyone though.

Many thanks for the advice, I will probably go with the 15 37 28 46 configuration. I am undecided about primary lengths at the moment, I understand the fag packet rule of longer primaries give more torque so if this is true and not an old garage myth I want the make soemthing to get the best of both...

Tubular exhaust manifold, pairings of primaries.
I am fabricating my own exhaust manifolds, I am intending to make a system with 1 5/8 primaries, going 4 into 2 at two collectors, at the merge into 2 pipes the pipe will change into 2 inch pipe, then go past the bellhousing and then into a 2 into 1 merge, this merge will also go up to a 2 1/4 inch ...

Oh yes, tuning on a rolling road is a hard to find skill in west Cornwall, I have been to a couple of places but i want to be able to fiddle myself due to my control freak nature ! I did a lot of checking out of the FAST Ez-EFi kit before I bought it, I normally view items like this that promise eas...

Some other points I forgot to add earlier. I don't want to clutter up my nice clean engine bay with bloody great big airboxes or pipes and mass airflow meters, i also like the look of the chrome airfilter sat on top of the engine. The injectors are below the throttle plates so loss of fuel/air suspe...

Interesting points. I was running a 390 Holley for a while but did not really like it, it seemed to fall out of adjustment really easily and I was forever trying to get it to idle properly, also leaked frequently, It was suggested I try a 500 Edelbrock, this was a vast improvement but I had some tro...

Offenhauser 360 on Rover V8. Wedge plate ?
HI all, I am building an engine up to fit to the Manta, I have an Offenhauser 360 inlet manifold and a FAST Ez-EFi system, I was running an Edelbrock 500cfm carb so was also using a single large open hole style wedge plate to bring the carb horizontal. The Efi kit has no need of this wedge plate exc...

Gearbox ratios ?
Hi All, I have a G22A SD1 3500 Police spec 5 speed LT77 box in my Manta, I have been mucking about altering the rear axle and I want to work out the best CWP ratio to use. Does anyone know what the ratios in this box are, I did do a little search on this topic but could not find out if the box is di...

SD1 Back axle overhaul.
Does anyone have any data on how to set up an SD1 back axle after a complete overhaul ? I am changing the diff bearings and the crown wheel and pinion and I could do with any tips, hints or OE data specs. I think there is a crush washer in there too, any ideas where I might get hold of one ? Rimmers...
