Seems an odd decision to me. Are you seeking more power? - how much more power do you think a TB would give over a plenum? Unless you are gaining a slug 50-100bhp you are not going to notice the difference on the road.
Forced induction is the easiest route to a decent power gain and you have the components to do it - why keep chopping and changing?

its just a thought eliot,
some friends i have with a similar setup but on tb's are killing me, on the road and track.
im not sure why if its the ecu still not 100% or not, or the plenum holding the car back.
like i said just a thought

on another note had 6 PM's already regarding the Twin plenum if i sell it

Hi Tony
supercharge it, it will give you a proper power increase and no mucking about, you know it makes sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best regards

Killing you in what respect ?

A twin plenum will allow more than enough air for the engine you have. SO it cant be a restriction IMO

And I'm sure your ecu is more than capable of running the engine. Did you ever switch to a proper crank trigger ? Or still using the dizzy ?

Maybe the likes of a Boxer carb manifold adapted with some throttles on the end could be a easy option ?

Did you ever fit the blower, if so what pressure did you end up out of it? My old SN92 gave around 8psi on my 3.5, that was an upgraded version.

With ITBs you will lose torque at the lower/mid revs but gain some BHP at higher revs. I wouldnt think you'd gain that much over a twin plenum setup to be honest.

ECU shouldnt be an issue either, although it is time you went over to a genuine MS rather than a copy ;)

If you haven't fitted the blower yet then why not??? Get on with it!

Hi Phil

nope not running a gen MS yet

blower also not fitted yet due to being let down twice now on the blower pulleys, and now its the wrong side of crimbo and the Mrs has put her foot down
makes me wonder if she's contacting everyone i do and saying no to the work

Youve got the most expensive part already, hope you sort the pulleys out. If you havent had time to that then ITBs will never happen ;)

Give me a shout if you want an MS, I'm sure we can work something out. In fact I have something in front of me that would suit you perfectly,

The guys i crew for with the pro comp dragster have put me in contact with the guy thats done all the dragster work,
but they are not back until next week,
also a guy i know very well who i spoke with today has now retired and wants to take a look at the charger to see if he can make them as he is bored at home, will pop round and see him next week also,
so fingers crossed i can get the charger pulleys made, then get ralph to water jet the brackets, just a matter of spacing the current pulleys to line up with the charger as dont think i can get the charger any further back to the engine, may go take a look tomorrow now the car has a proper garge that has heating and lights etc.

Tell me more about what you have sat in front of you mate

And is engine spec similar, vehicle weight, gearing etc ? And do you mean on the straights, or around the bends ?

down the straights and coming out of the bends just seems flat,
have posted about this on the vems site ages ago and didnt get much help, was told it was down to a setting in my ecu config, but when i had it checked out it was fine maybe its just me then and thats how its going to be,
