hi.
I'm not so good at all the settings yet, in megasquirte.
So I'm hoping there is one here who could help with a complete program from his RV8 preferably 3.9.
As I can adjust redirected from, so it will fit my engine.
This makes it all a little easier for me.
I know no program from any other engine will fit on my engine, but it will give a good start to tune further off.
Bedst regards.

Thing is there are so many variables. So unless you can find one for an identical engine and set-up, it's just as fast to start from first principles.
For example, my 3.5 had originally flapper injection. When fitting my MS2 V3, I dispensed with the injector resistors and the cold start injector, but retained the EAV.
And that's before you even think of B&G or Extra code.
Once you've read through the manual for setting things up from a fresh start, you should have the engine running reasonably well very quickly. Getting it spot on takes rather more time. I'm still hoping to do that one day.
Have you got a wideband O2 sensor installed? Things would be very tricky without one.

As Dave says theres a lot of variables to take into account.
I assume its an MS2, if so then load the V2.1.0p code to it or the latest V3.03t to it.
I can supply you with a base map for either of those codes, if you tell me if its fuel only, dizzy spark control or wasted spark and the trigger wheel (36-1 I guess)
thanks

Hello.
I know I can not get something complete map for my engine that just will work perfectly.
But it will give me a good start to tune further on
Of course, the ignition map and VE map have to be adjusted further
But it's still easier than a blank map for me when I know that it has been running on another RV8 3.5 / 3.9:)
My ignition is wasted spark
trigger wheel 36-1
My injector 200cc/min
Yes I have installed an AEM wideband o2 lambda
It is an MS2 and run with v.2.1.0

Phil(extraefi.co.uk) as offered you a starting map above your last post, I would take him up on this kind offer as it will get you up & running, you have a wideband so you can lean off or richen up as necessary to tailor to your engine set-up.

It is more than welcome.
I am looking forward to trying it.
