I bought a set of (Perforated steel faced) Manifold gaskets a while back (From a ebay seller) a nice fit but on the V8D Stage 1V heads/ports theres a slight lip at the bottom of the port, should i make do? or would it be OK to file a bit off the gasket?
Hope that makes sense
Steve

Don't see why not, will it interfere with the gas flow? is there a lip into the exhaust manifold, or are they much larger or port matched?

Manifolds are fine, more then big enough, on the gasket theres maybe a 1mm lip from the gaskets to the bottom of the ports

Just remove the material from the gasket to match your exhaust port size on the heads.
