my hilux wipers wont return to park, iv changed the wiper motor and put on a new wiper stalk. My old stalk had the wiper wash on the end, that didnt work, it works now with the new one, only problem is no intermittent wipe and no wipe with the washers. I discovered the wiper relay was missing, cant get a genuine hilux mk2 relay now, iv ordered a new intermittent one from an auto electrical supplies, will this replacement work? also would the relay being missing stop wipers from parking?

I would at least check that the pinout of the new relay is the same as the old one. You might have a good chance of it working if it is.

Chris.

Would need a circuit diagram for the original and the new relay. There are lots of different ways makers use to achieve the same end result.

hope you can do something with that Dave, this is been doing my head in for ages, you cant get original wiper relays for mk2 now, so this is all i can do. To go over what the problem is, my wipers work on slow and high, washers work but not the wash and wipe, no intermittent and they wont park. I traced back the wires and found the four wires that the relay was supposed to be attached to, but nothing there.
