Not ITB's but carbs... anyone done this or know much about it?

What carbs would you get for a 4.6? I asume their pritty good there being one for each cylinder, but maby a pain to setup, balancing them all?

They seem like a well priced option though, very cheap

I was thinking of running LPG though... I'm not totally in the know about how LPG systems with carb but this would odv prove tricky as I bet it hasnt been done with bike carbs.

I've yet to learn how a LPG "Mixer" works and be in the know, it was something I was going to do after the engines all in and running.

thanks for looking!

An LPG mixer x 8 would be a total pain in the arse. If you wanted LPG, I would go for LPG injection.

There was a guy on youtube who had his V8 running bike carbs, but has since reverted to a holley and offenhauser manifold! I've left a message for him asking how it performed and if he managed to get it running on them, but not heard anything back!!

Hi
Why build a performance inlet set up then strangle the whole thing with an LPG mixer (or eight)?
Unless there is some sanctioning class advantage in competition there is no point building a performance engine then running it on LPG. Even if you optomise everything for LPG it will still produce about 8-10% less power than it's petrol equivilent because of the lower chalorific content of the fuel, you can't get around it.
Best regards
