Im having problems with my fuel gauge readings on my VXR8 (08). The Fuel levels are intermittent, sometimes I need to switch the ignition off/on several times to get a reading.

Other times I can be driving along and the low fuel warning comes on, despite me just filled the tank. I have been told the main suspect will be the fuel sender unit.

Locating spares for my VXR8 can be a nightmare, I've even had to source from Australia. I am hoping someone will have the info for me to source the item within UK ... thanks in anticipation

Isn't this still a current Vauxhall production car, it is certainly less than 7 years out of production! a manufacturer is required to provide spares and support for any car sold in the UK for 7 years after the model is last sold, go to your Vauxhall dealer and point this out to them, they have to supply spares. Also isn't still under warrenty???

Try asking on the holden section of pistonheads.
There was a member called "raving" that breaks monaro's - but probably not vxr8's - and he's also been banned which doesn't help.
But monkfish performance may be able to assist.

monaro is sold as pontiac gto in the states, I know yours is a different model but might share parts, might be some parts for it on summit or jegs?
