RV8 head bolts..... best place to get a set??

like the title says guys, I've got the 14bolt heads on mine, and wondering where the best place to get a fresh set is?? Can't stretch to the cost of ARP bolts..... so where would you recomend going?

Hello Jono,
The heads bolts that you removed are high tensile and can safely be re used. Only stretch bolts are one time use only.

Are the old ones stretched?

old ones shouldnt stretch. there is no angular tightening of them to take the stretch out.
ive reused mine and only put 10 in. lets see how long the gaskets last

didn't get any with the engine as the heads were off the block
along with push rods and a few other bits like waterpump....

I bought cheap ones from eBay once. After a head gasket failure within 10 miles, and some testing to destruction in a jig, I binned them and bought some genuine Land Rover ones....
