Dimitri,
Another bargain! looks like a professionally prepared pair of heads and very nicely done.
I would like a view of the throat and bowl area, the port runner work relates more to max flow and top end power, whereas the throat and bowl work gives 30-35 extra BHP with standard ports and cam and retains drivability.
As you are aware the standard exhaust bowl area is quite poor on the Rover heads and there are good gains to be made in that area also.

Port sizes : In 1.89"/1.100" Ex 1.535"/1.100".
REC waisted 5/16 stem valves 1.693" IN. / 1.455" EX.
Triple groove valve spring retainer
REC Colisbro valve guide
Dual valve spring up 0.600 lift
In fact heads are ex-work Tuscan Challenge parts. No more o-ringed as have been skimmed.
Kevin I will take pics next week for you.

Dimitri,
Wow they maxed out those port runner sizes and a very nice light valve spec, should perform well for you but you will need a well matched inlet for those port sizes 1.89" tall is massive for rover castings, my buick 300 heads are 1.7" x 1" left as cast for road use so could be larger if required.
What induction system are you going to use.

They don't look any larger than TVR's better std valved heads, I've seen BV heads with what look larger ports & Tuscan heads with much less flange material.
Port matching is not all, steps in the right directions were preferred by quite a few of the builders, I guess dictated as much by casting material available as design?
The triple collets smack to me that they have been through Eales, Paul Ivy would likely know who he sold most of those valves to (REC 477/xx & 478/xx I believe where the xx is his tag for the groove style) The REC valves are all stamped with the numbers on the stem just above the groove - but its very small.

Yes inlet runner size limited to the casting of the manifold in which case most people match the roof of the port to the roof of the manifold which is what I did with my Buick 300 heads and Edelbrock Performer manifold. Fortunately the composite valley gasket has 1.7" x 1.0" holes!
Even a Huffaker inlet is only 1.7" tall and as the Wildcat/Harcourt are based on the Huffaker they are probably similar.

Dimitri,
They look very well done, the V8 developments heads don't look anywhere near as well finished as that.
Regards,
Kevin.
