Interested to see who on the forum drives anything over 12 years old.
I've just finished putting a BMW e39 540 touring back on the road and even with 194,000 on the clock it is as tight as the day it left Bavaria

I've never had a modern car policy, far too tight to pay the prices for bits and insurance etc

, the current daily is 45 yrs old, '66 vintage (although the bike is only 16 yrs old). Prev ones were '64, '86, '68, '67, '64, '70, etc.
I don't do long distances much though, although did one 440 miler.

My E39 is making horrible noises, sounds like a B52 driving down the road, done all the wheel bearings, center prop and donut, still it whines like a banchee, diff or gearbox now,

All my cars are new in comparison. But still over 12 years old.
My summer car is a 1996 TVR Griffith. I'm working on a replacement winter car at the moment that should mean a v8 fleet.

My MX is 1990 although the engine is from a 1986 Range Rover
Everyday driver is a 98 Peugeot 406 Estate with a mere 236,000 miles on the clock, last one did over 300,000 before someone drove into it.
Looking to change it though for a Scimitar SE5a so that'll be an early 70's

'91 M5 here - newest I've had for a while. Most stuff tends to be from the 70's or 80's.

First car from 17 has been my 1980 mgb that I got in 2000. Drove it around for a few years, then being young(er), daft and throttle happy, wound up in a ditch. Got it home and found it was quite rotten, so I spent 3 years restoring it and putting a v8 in it, thanks to my student loan and non term-time work I did. Driven it as my everyday car since, for five years. It could do with respraying again now, but I cannot imagine getting rid of it.
