Ok, so I now have an MS1 Extra and all the gubbins to get it fitted and running.

What are my options with this, i.e. is it bank fire only or can it run full sequential....what can this baby do?

It should be able to run sequential, just need to chop off 6 cylinders to make it work

You need MSIII and an expansion board for this.

It depends on who you talk to - but most reckon sequential has more to do with emission control than the actual running, although it may give a small improvement at very low engine speeds. But for that, you'd likely need so way of finding out which each individual cylinder is doing.

Hi
I would go with what you have and go for batch/bank fire, you will have more than enough to fiddle with wtih that. Sequential would need ages on a dyno to set up any better than batch fire anyway. You can set it up to fire inner two on each bank with the outer two from the other bank, and to fire each batch/bank every 360 degrees of crank rotation, that way they have a much simpler relationship of injection point the point in the over all engine cycle.
Best regards
