Andy!
I'm so sorry that this has come to you at such a young age. As Ian said. You have all our thoughts with you at this time. And you also have a lot of PM addresses if you feel you want to share your grief with any of us. I've been with my missus for 30 years now. We are both in our early 50's and I have to admit to being a bit of a wimp as I sometimes think about how I would feel if Gill went before me??
I have had to go through the grief of losing both my parents when I was in my 30's. At that time I was left in a daze and thinking that I was in a permanent dream state and that is had not actually happened.
This was bad enough. But the thought of losing my partner shakes me to the very core.
I'm glad that you have had the courage to share this with your mates on here at this sad time Andy.
If you are like me. Ros would have been the centre of your life. The person who kept you on the straight and narrow. And the person who also supported you when you longed to go off the straight and narrow. You know what I mean eh?
My thought are with you right now Andy.
We will be glad to hear from you when you feel the time is right.
Regards
Perry and family

Hi Andy
we havent met yet i dont think but as a fellow car nut and knowing how you must feel right now i thought i would add my 2p worth.
I lost my partner suddenly 4 years ago last October, Ann-marie was only 38.
As Perry said about his parents, i to felt like i was in a dream and it takes time to accept and come to terms. It seems like nothing will ever get better or back to 'normal' but time will help.
Remember the good times mate.
My thoughts are with you at this time.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Devastating to lose one's partner. I can hardly imagine how bad that would be for you.
When my dad died I found it hard to get any sort of motivation to go on doing the things I used to. I couldn't see the point of it all, I too was in a sort of daze or mental decline. That was 12 months ago now and I'm still coming to terms - I guess only time will provide some resolution.
Take care mate.
