Has anyone ever come across a Rover V8 engine with the engine number starting with 39VB?

If so, what is it from?

39VB not sure the only number on my list that is similar is 39A is a 3.5 SD1 9.35:1cr factory recon unit, not sure if this helps at all. im sure somebody knows and will put me right
