Engine identification? Ford v8?

Certainly a SBF, without having a good look at the engine, its impossible to tell, again without a good look its impossible to guesstimate HP
it looks like a later 302/5L or could be a 351 truck engine with the fuel injection removed

Understandable, just wondered if it could be identified as a windsor/cleveland/whatever for the photos, (i know little or nothing about yank V8's if you hadnt already guessed) If i find out the engine numbers i assume that might help.. if there are any specific ones to look for...

Mate has one fitted in his hot rod, behind the starter is where he had too look to find out,

right, got the engine today, the numbers on the block are as follows-
090E- 6061- E8A
8J22
But from looking at the link above the first 0 is probably a D, but still not 100% on identification.. any help pleasee, just like to now what ive gone and bought!

Can't specifically identify your engine but the informsation here will help with the engines spec.
