Its a 3 wire bosch item acquired from a hyundai, megaspurt won't run the 4 wire jobbie normally found with act stuff and tvr stuff etc.
no its not been running with that intake setup but it has ran lots with the itb's so no running in issues luckily.

I almost had the bugger going again the week before last (i've been egypt between now and then, whic is a poo hole by the way) but the wire i chose to power the ecu drops to 4v when cranking so i need to find another wire to use and also my radiator has acquired a small hole somehow. . . . . .
I probably knocked it or something whilst working on it so i need to get another one now.
I need to also change my cooling system slightly by getting rid of the header tank and swirl pot and fitting my spare top hose filler and putting a pressure cap on that with the overflow going to a catch tank which should be fairly simple to do.
Then thats it!
I need to drag out my 2.0 axle and start stripping that down to swap the lsd into and also make some mounts for the anti tramp bars as well as the bars them selves which will go in place of the anti roll bar.
Then thats it for a long time hopefully!
There is a list of other bits i want to do next though which is firstly and most importantly build the 4.6 engine with tvr heads and then change the rear end for a 6 link setup.
I like the idea of a T5 box too but i'll wait and see on that one.

Drops 4v when cranking, where have you taken the power from to supply the ECU, and, Is your battery up to the Job??

The battery is new. It was an unused wire from the ign switch for and accesory that isn't there anymore. I've taken a wire directly from the battery and fed the ecu via that and then turned it over and it worked fine then so its just the wire i've chose to use thats no good.

i have 6mm cable going from the battery to a distribution block under the dash that powers just the ecu,
i have a similar thing for the hyfire,

I also have a dedicated suplly to the ECU via a connector block, I also run the switched side fron a relay powered from this block, I think this is set by the ign terminal on the back of the ign switch, I will have to confirm by having a peek under the dash, I also run a dedicated earth from the battery for all the ECU functions in the same gauge wire that the feed is.

i have an 8mm earth going from the back of the passengers head back to my ecu ONLY,
the hyfire has an 8mm earth going back to the main earth under the bonnet.
like Ian my ignition and ecu has its own seperate power and earths,
