Jag xjs diff breather is missing is it necessary how does it function what will happen if i run without it .

It'll pour oil down the back of the cover and ruin the gears as it runs out you could always make up a fitting that leads up to a looped pipe so it doesn't happen
Pop Browns might do them ?
