Good day

can anyone help

i keep on getting fuel overflowing out of the carb. i have set the floats to the specified distances of 7/16 shut and 1 inch open.

it started overflowing one day on a drive and flooded the engine. have bought a rebuild kit with new valves but this doesnt solve the problem and i am quickly running out of ideas.

anyone know of any other reason behind the leak?

Too much pressure from your fuel pump

or if you have a pressure regulator that could be on the "Fritz"

Hey Chris!
Where you been all my life

As Ian says. First thing is to check that the fuel pressure isnt too high and just forcing its way past the float valve.
