Broken drive shaft

Pulling away at a set of traffic lights the other day my drive shaft broke. Wouldn't be a problem but it was custom made so have been going round the local engineering factories to see if anyone can make one up but no joy. Anyone know where I can get one or maybe two made up. Its a bmw one end and Mazda the other, both ends splined. I've got the two pieces as a pattern. Have done a search and it came up with a place in Scotland and another in Nottingham, must be more than that and somewhere down South.
Cheers Andy

As above, although if you check yellow pages there are bound to be local engineering places that can do such things.

Cheers for the replies and links, looks as if I can get one made up for about £250, will take a couple of weeks. Hopefully the other side won't give up just yet supposed to be keeping spending on the car down this year.
