R380 Gearbox Oil.

Hi Guys,
what oil should be in the R380???
as mine has a purple coloured fluid that looks like meth spirits

I've used Redline MTL in the past and think that its pretty good.
I've got castrol SMX in my R380 at the moment and that seems good to!
(The change is a bit slow when the box is cold but I'd rather that than bunging in some ATF crap!)

I have used Castrol SMX for the life of my R380 and its had some serious abuse over the last 10 years. Did have to have it rebuilt a couple of years ago as 3rd gear syncros went, not surprising really.
