Is it OK to route electrical/coolant loom/pipes underneath the inlet manifold along the valley gasket?

Some RV8 powered vehicles have the coolant pipes routed there but are steel, so long as they are solid or insulated it should be fine, electrical stuff will probably be ok but I would put them through a heat shielded sleeve.
