I have just bought a complete range rover power train that has a recon. GB Developments engine. I have tried to seek out information on web and other places but can find nothing. Clearly a small outfit, apparently based near Matlock, has anyone had experience/feedback of them? Just for peace of mind really!
Thanks.

Long shot
could it be GT Developments
They made the GTD40 back in late 80's early 90's and I believe experimented on a few engines. Ended up mainly with 302's though

Possibly V8 Developments? In which case they did a good stage III job on my heads and were very helpful when I kept asking dumb questions!

No mate it is GB developments. They are only a small outfit but that means attention to detail is second to none. I have had a race engine prepared by them and it is awsome to say the least.! they are situated in brassington which is near to matlock. What they dont know about preparing engines isnt worth knowing!!! hope this helps.

Just picked it up today and it looks very tidy with Prinz lpg. Unfortunately had to transport it on my trailer on its side, so trailer now full of oil from dipstick tube!! Do I need to take any precautions now when refitting it. e.g. Oil in bores, oil pump reprime?
Maximotorsport, if you have contact details for GB, could you either post or pm them to me if you have a minute. Muchos appreciated.

This sounds like Glynn? He does a lot of 4x4 stuff and off road v8 engines. Has some pretty keen prices from time to time if it's who I think it is.

I would prime the oil pump anyway if it's been stood for any length of time. Just to be on the safe side.....
