I'll be converting my Pilgrim 2.9 V6 Cobra to a 3.5 RV8 later in the year so will be looking for some manifolds.
Been told the standard ones wont fit so will need something decent.
Ive been told the Pilgrim V8 manifolds arent that good?

Which standard ones? There are a variety fitted to the RV8 depending on installation. Some better than others. The Vitesse ones are said to be pretty good.

Dunno - depends on where they foul. Which ones have you tried?

I havent tried any but have been told by vraious people that you have to have non standard manifolds.

Have you spoken to Chimeara on the Cobra forum? He builds Sumo's and AK's for a living. Very helpful chap, I know he does sidepipes so would think he does manifolds as well.

I have a pair of used stainless block hugger manifolds for sale if you want them. £80 and they're yours. They've been sprayed with silver heat paint and are 1 1/2 inch bores. I bought them to fit on my Westie but they just foul on the steering column. It might be worth getting confirmation that they would fit.
