Hello,

What oil is everybody using? I have a Fairly tuned 3.5 with 255bhp and am building a 4 litre now. I normally use Duckhams mineral 20/50 and never had a problem, until now, i can't get it. They seem to have stopped making it.
:(
What should i use?

Thanks.

Castrol,

Make a good oil specifically for the older pushrod engines....

I just changed my oil yesterday and filled with Millers Classic 20/50 - couldn't find Duckhams either.

Paul if you're using the original style oil pump it's got to be a 20/50 oil really. For the later crank driven oil pump style i've seen anything down to 10/40 advised by the oil companies themselves. I also know of someone who uses 15/40 Diesel oil in an RV8 and swears by it!
