Hello folks, Im trying to get a measurement of a standard 2WD flywheel thickness, and also the distance from the back of the block (mating face with bellhousing) to the friction face of the flywheel.

Can anyone help?

Can someone confirm it is roughly 28mm for SD1 and 38mm for RR?

SD1 flywheel is 31mm thick.
Crankshaft flange is 7mm forward (ie towards front of engine)of bellhousing mount face so friction face to mating face is 31-7=24mm
Note, a steel flywheel from Real Steel is 3mm thinner than an SD1 flywheel.

Thanks guys, this is just what I wanted to hear!

The friction face on my fly is approx. 21mm from the bellhousing mounting face on the block, which sounds 'right'.

I still havnt worked out why my CRB is two inch from the clutch cover though! :)
