Guys,

I am looking to fit on board air to my land rover. Does anyone have any photos of the brackets that were fitted to the laft hand head for air con applications?

My Alternator is on the right hand side and there is nothing on the left (passenger side).

Its a stock 3.5 Rover v8 I can make some brakcets up bout if theres somethign I can buy that would be preferable!

Cheers

There's always the emissions air injection pump bracket to consider as well, and the Range/Land Rover PAS is normally at the top, so there's the bottom left corner where the early PAS pumps were that could donate their mounting brackets. That's one great thing about the Rover V8, its many different applications give loads of different choices for those types of mods, and they can be done in such a way as they look as though they're OE.

This is the Range Rover mounting location:

I might have a spare bracket, if you can wait until the w/e when I'm back in the country!

Thats interesting Chris. That is my alternator position at the moment but the bracket is certainly different to how my alternator looks. I have no problem moving the alternator if it needs to.

Im going to have a nose under my P38's bonnet as I just realised that has aircon so I may be able to see how that ones plumbed in (the aircon is out of gas).

Sorry!, misread your original post. Yes, mine is the later EFi type front-end where in the pic you can see the air-con pump and the alternator bracked (no alternator fitted).

I don't know where the air-con went on your setup....
