try clearing the filters on the inlet and exit of the pump.

Inlet blocked and it cant suck
Outlet blocked and it can't pump

Try running without pipes connected - if still nothing I suggest a new one - about £45 - how many hours fiddling then you still end up buying a new one!

i had so many problems with facet pumps, that i switched to a holley electric fuel pump,

many a time i was sat along side the road hitting the facet pump(s) getting them to try and pump at least some fuel through,
i swore that never again to use them and never have,

Maybe the inlet fuel hose is split or the unions into the side of the pumb are loose and its just sucking air through?

nope its definately cabbaged, ive replaced it with a red top holley and what a superior pump this is, the facet used to vibrate through the car and was really noisy yet the holley is so quiet and vibration free i kept thinking it wasnt working.
