my anti run on valve/fuel presure regulator are in the way of where my coil packs want to mount.

im thinking of re locating the fuel presure regulator an was wondering if the anti run on valve is really needed? do V8's suffer from run on?

also how does it work? presume it lets are in which makes the presure regulator stop fuel presure building up?

think i have arnswred this myself, the emerald ecu doesnt have an output to one anyway, so i presume its something to do with the flapper efi system, probably that it doesnt the injectors when the engines cut?

either way mines in the bin.

be good if something could confirm this.

I'd confirm it, but I can't see inside your bin

What it does is this:
On overrun (i.e. high manifold vacuum), the low tension ignition signal from coil -ve to ECU is interrupted by a relay. This relay is controlled by the valve you want to ditch.

I thought anti-run on valves were mostly fitted to carb engines ?

With an ecu like Emerald, no such device would be needed for sure.

yeah this is different to an anti run on valve i think, i think it cuts the fuel when its not needed, which modern injection an emeralds do anyway, usual rule is that if your not pressing the accelerator at all and the revs are higher than 2000rpm they cut fuel.
