Hello Plank,

Here is a link to a discussion on this topic at the Australian Land Rover Owner's forum.

You might find it helpful.

cheers guys rele helpful, I have one with the loom all ready its a E6X. Its going in a land rover so all I want is a base map and perhaps a "live tune" as all I want is reliability rather than performance.

Ask over on the Haltech forum

Base map will be tricky, unless there is someone out there using the exact same setup, with same triggers and sensors etc

Anything is possible.

But in order for a guess map to get you started, you would need to gie very specific details about your setup.....

And TBH, if you knew enough of these details, you could work through and get it started yourself anyway.

Just follow through the instructions. It wont be that bad.

Timo,

I had no problems reading your maps, (my laptop has XP). However, I think I need to read the values manually from each map since the file format was not recognised by E6X. Then the values need to be inpit manually to E6X files. Some work yes but would give something as a start.

Plank22, F10 is fuel only and naturally does not have ignition maps. You need to source them somewhere. Haltech ECU does have a library of ignition maps that will get you started.

I have bought a Haltech E6X and plan to have it fitted in the wintertime. Exact components are still open but I am using Haltech supplied sensors. I have two sets of BMW Coopes S injectors that should be plenty enough for Rover. Sadly they are of shorter design so the rail needs modifying. Or then I just need to buy another set of injectors with correct dimensions.
