thanks for the compliments!
It is a mild steel SFI 25.4 cage (drag race spec), I have had a lot of help from Andy Robinson who supplied the spec, tube and axle housing.

I bought the car as an mot failure for 130 quid! the engine is a 357 small chevy I got from US ebay. It has taken me probably about 18 months to get to this stage as I'm in a SITKOM (Single Income Two Kids Oppressive Mortgage) but I am hoping to finish the chassis this year to get it finish welded

thats looking like a great car..........

dont give yourself a target date to finish , family can always push you past that without getting it finished.

its got to have big back wheels, under the arches, its made for that.

great, look forward to more picture of your progress

chevy 10-bolt? Or Ford 9"?

Its a ford 9" custom made (ker-ching) to my width requirements by Andy Robinson. It is going to be mounted on a four link. Wheel wise I am using 15" BM wheels and plan on using a 235 60 15 mickey thompson street radial as I want to keep the car as discreet as possible - I love sleeper cars!

We're all jealous so do excuse all the attempts at humour :D

Mind you I wouldn't mind some of that suspension mounting string. It must be REALLY strong

Dear Sir
My children would love to know how you managed to get such a good climbing frame inside your car and could they please have one in mummys car when you have finished that one.

With regard to Kev the Moles really silly comment about the suspension string I felt it was only right to make a sensible post

From my point of veiw I think what you have done is just incredible and can't wait to see more photo's of the build.
WELL DONE that man :D :D :D
