I'm going to make some anti tramp bars for my capri very soon and i need to get x2 rose joints for them.

I have a spare anti roll bar which i was going to use the bushed ends from which fit onto the body of the car(fitted with poly bushes) then get some rose joints and make some brackets to fix onto the axle for these to fix too then sort some appropriate sized bar to tape the two together with.

What size rose joint would i need?

Ebay has truck loads on there so i thought i'd get some off there for conveniance sake.

Ta!

Rose joints for an anti-roll bar ???

i'd say M10 or equivalent would be more than ample.

There are Rose Joints and Rose joints, the spec difference in unbelivable, , ranging from plastic lined to steel teflon coated , dont be tempted to get bronze lined RJs as the liner is not designed to take shock loadings, the more heavy duty the better, M12 would be my choice, steel teflon lined and get some covers so you can keep the dirt out, RJs will transmit plenty of noise, so if you are mixing rubber and RJs fit the rubber to the body side, also generally speaking, metric RJs are cheaper to buy than Imperial

Sweet, thanks Ian i'll do what you've said.

Stevie, the anti tramp bars are going in place of the anti roll bar.
