hi looking to put a v8 I got kicking around into my 1975 viva any ideas or help would be great

im not sure on sizes,but would of thought the rear axle ,and the front brakes and discs of a 2300 would be ok, if the v8 is going to be left standard ish, As for gearbox i thought a ford would be easier to fit ,if it staying manual??. I cant remember if the engine bay is bigger or smaller than a mk1 escort
