Anybody know the depth from flange to pump base of this RR P38 4.0/4.6 94-98 injection pump?

I think i used this one on my efi conversion
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RANGE-ROVER-CLASS ... 7C294%3A50
Managed to trim it down to about 7" tall to fit in my tank, worked a treat :D

Do you know how deep it was before you modified?

I like the look of this for my Stag EFI project, but how do you mount it to the top of the tank?

The earlier RR one is easier to mount, but does not have an inbuilt swirl pot arrangement.

Cheers,
Mike.

Mike,

from what I've seen you cut the hole in the tank to fit the sender and the gaskets and then fabricate some sort of circular or hold down clamps.

Ive got a sump in my tank so I'll place the pump in that and just modify the length. That should get rid of the need for a swirl pot.

Ian
