i just hope it runs better than last year, nth weald in May is the first test. My quickest time so far is 14.7 et and 99mph ,but that was with my old 3,5 lump with a 50 shot of gas ,with an engine i built over 14 years ago and running bad, looking to get in the 13s with this one?? :) rich

Hi Rich,

What BHP do you estimate from the 3.9 without gas?

Ha Ha!!
I'm glad it aint just me that does things like the Rich

I do have a sort of a system now though. I've got a big 'ole freezer in the garage with white doors. I use a dry wipe marker to write my "to do" list on it.

If aint ticked off, it aint done...This helps me a lot.

Apart form when one of the kids decides to have a laugh and swaps the dry marker with a magic marker. You should have seen Gill's face when she came into the garage to find me using the power mop and G3 compound on the fridge

i just cant remember doing the torque, i can remember reading 45lb torque for cam bolt, but cant remember doing the cam bolt, on a better side fitted a oil catch tank today and some other stuff, Perry did the freezer have a nice mirror smooth finish with the mop, :) rich

Yeah, thats always the way. :? Think I'll get a whiteboard & mark things off. Thought about using Perry's trick with the old fridge, but I'd only fill it with beer & then nothing would get done. Image

Rich,

Are you going to use Valvoline 20/50R?

This stuff doesn't thin out when it gets hot. I get 28psi at idle on a cam driven pump. :)
