Well!!
Now the snow has gone, and I've got my garage heater working again, its time to play.
Here's the new system going in for trial fitting. I've also traded in my old controller for one that will fire two pairs of solenoids.
I think this setup would actually flow 250hp of gas each side if I pushed it a bit. But I'm only looking to flow 250-300hp max.

Nice one Perry,
You're giving me ideas!
I hope you're taking it to the retro.

Ged!!
Take a look at the events section mate...
I'll be there hosting my MG Drag Racing Clubs Annual day out on 12th July. Alongside my lot will be this lot from V8 forum, plus my mates from Northants MG Owners Club with a lot of show and shine MG's and the GT40 Owners mob organised by our very own Ian Anderson from here...Should be around 70 cars in our area.
If you are not already on the list, get your name down so Bones can give you a pit pass so you can park up with us in the fun area...

What you laughing at Tom??
Its aleady running a 200 shot. An exra 50 wont make too much difference.
Ian..Yep. Still running cast factory pistons on the ragged edge of destruction.
Thats what my car is about isnt it. Seeing just how far I can push it before something lets go again. Then when it lets go I find a way to make the stock part work under that condition if possible. Thats why I like these engines so much. Lots of bits you can tweak to make them better.

Looks good Perry, nothing wrong with cast pistons and there cheap to replace. i will stick to a 150 in mine. Like your set up though, is it a crossfire plate or a modified item

I'm not happy with the link pipes to the Y connectors. I'm going to replace these with solid nipples so they dont sag.
Now I have to buy some more jets as well as I now need two of every jet I want to try out.
I've got so much left to do to get it running for the Fast Show though. I'm stressing about getting it back together as I've ripped out all the electrics so all of the nitrous and ignition has to be moved around in the car and rewired. I can feel a sicky day coming on soon

Love your attitude Perry.
Makes my 4.5 Chimaera look very safe with only 125 shot.
What else have you done to allow the 200 shot?
Colder plugs? Retarded timing?

Not a lot really
Bigger ring gaps
Slightly lower CR
colder plugs
And retard between 2-6 degree's depending on how much gas I'm using.
I dont always run a 200 shot. If I do any mods I drop back to a baseline of 100shot and work it back up gradually over a few runs to the max I have been using. Which in this case will be a 200shot. But if she holds up with the original shot of gas and the other mods I've done, she will then be creeping up to a 225 shot for the next round of testing.

I've fitted nipples now Ian. Which holds the Y connectors nice and firm.
