Quick question- valve stem size!

What size valve stems does the RV8 use? (EFI heads if it makes any difference).
I ordered an 11/32 guide from Summit Racing but I have a feeling it should be a 5/16! Not too late to change the order as they are waiting on the spring seat cutter to come in anyway.
Some of the stuff on their website is so cheap! (Would have been even cheaper if the £ was still worth something!!!)

Funny thing, I have a set of valve beside the computer, measured the stems and the come out at 0.342. which is 11/32 near as damn.
You can breathe a BIG sigh now
You say the place is cheap, before you finish your order, check the handeling charges, they stink!!!!!, Im using Jegs, prices are similar but dont sting you with hidden charges.
Failing that go on the NSRA site and look up Langey, he brings in shipments from Summit every month, and he is not greedy on the charges,

Thanks Ian. I can always skim the guide down a little if I need I guess. Yea the shipping is a shame- but accepted it as it isn't cheap to ship from over there, will find out what their service is like when they arrive anyway!

Tom,
From memory 11/32" is correct, when I bought my KB pistons from summit I think they must have under charged me, admitted the pound was at $2 then but they only charged me £169.00 inc freight and I had to give the parcel force people £43.85 for clearance and VAT for which I reckon they overcharged me. still a total of £212.85 for a nice set of pistons and a good quality ring set has got to be cheap.

If I could get direct replacement 4.0 forged pistons for £200 I wouldn't have hesitated!!!

Grrr, Summit emailed me to ask how I wanted to pay for the shipping, I replied that I had already paid $25 for delivery & handling- but apparently that is for 'packaging', i.e. putting the 1.1/2" square cutter and pencil size guide in a jiffy bag, and I have to pay between $50 and $95 for the actual shipping.
Yea right, I bought a boost gauge and Moroso pressure relief valve and paid no more than $13 for either of those to be delivered.
Asked for a refund and will have to sort this some other way!

Very nice job, I would be very proud if I had done that. Also an opertunity for another US company to learn not to rip off international customers with ridiculas postal charges.
Best regards
