The only issue you'll have with the 112 is that it is very slightly too big in terms of low rpm flow for the 3.9

The M90 has to work harder but is better suited to the lower rpm range i.e. up to 2200rpm

but that 112 seems good value!

thanks,

i think any blower will be tight for room anyway.

will look at 112`s then, asked for more pics for the one on the forum

may be coming my way

will have to remove some of the castings to improve height restriction

Don't have to mount them in the V of the engine, the M90 lends itself to side mounting too, iIdid this last year as I did not want to alter the bonnet of my old TVR, doing it this way made fitting an intercooler much easier too.

Nice - Have you grafted the std RV8 throttle onto the end of the S/C?!
Whats required to make the 14cux understand the extra flow of the supercharger?

Well spotted, chopped the throttle body off the plenum and adapted it to fit the M90, turned the plenum through 180* to make an easier route for the intercooler induction pipes.
Not using a hotwire 14cux, as still on a flapper set up with a jag afm and an adjustable 4cu ecu.
Got around most of the problems by using a Vortech SFMU fuel regulator that can be adjusted in 3 ways to react to the boost pressure. works ok but maintaining a strong idle was a bit of an issue that took a while to get right, having finally sorted it 8-) I am just about to remove it all and fit an emerald ecu and coil packs so fully mapped fueling and ignition will hopefully put the minor niggles to bed.

Supercharged V8 Mini sounds evil  !!!!!!

hi chedder,

It sounds like running with a standard throttle body works...well with some problems set up problems, but i guess you expect it

i`m trying to get ideas to how i can fuel the engine when i go to the supercharger, i will put electronic ign set up first then go with the charger set up.
